Seminar on the issues of terminology

On 19 October 2018 on the base of the L.N. Gumilyov Eurasian National University there was held a seminar “Terminology as a cross discipline for training translators/interpreters”, organized by the Association of professional translators and translation companies.
The teachers of the Department of foreign languages of EAGI took part in this event: S.A. Doldinova, O.V. Dyachenko, N.I. Demidkova, N.V. Nikulshina, A.K. Yesimova.
At the seminar the reports were made by the Dean of the faculty, Doctor of Philological Science, Professor Sh. K. Zharkynbekova; a personal interpreter of the President of Bulgaria, Candidate of Philological Science, Master of the methods of teaching of conference-interpretation of the Geneva University B. Naimushin; the coordinator of the projects SDL Trados and T-Service T. Vinogradova; General Director of the company Gala Translations, the board member of АПППК А.Аrapbay and the senior teacher of the Department of General Linguistics and Theory of Translation of the L.N. Gumilyov ENU O.V. Vorobyov.
The speakers’ reports appealed to the audience, all the participants of the seminar got acquainted with the new and useful information which will help in further development of translation matter.
