Universiade on chess among the higher educational institutions of Nur-Sultan city

On 13 February 2020 the Medical university of Astana, the Centre of the sports medicine and the sports club together with the Centre on the Youth affairs, the Department of culture and sports supported by the Department on the counteraction against drug crime of Nur-sultan city held the second Universiade chess tournament.
The EAGI team took the honorable third place. During the five hours our students fought with nine teams from the leading universities and became the third leading team.
The winners were awarded with diplomas, medals and precious gifts.
Our EAGI chess team winning the third prize was represented by the following students: Merghen Adihan (gr.ИК-18-01), Armanuly Yeskendir (gr.ПМНО-18-01) and Toyshibay Lazima (gr.ДОВК-18-01).
