Debate tournament on the topic “Youth and the modern state” at the Eurasian Humanities Institute

On September 27-28, 2022, the Debate Movement Faction of the EAGI Student Parliament, the Committee on Youth Affairs together with the Department for Combating Drug Crimes of the Astana Police Department and the «Future Without Drugs» CF held debate tournament on the theme “Youth and the Modern State”. The purpose of the debate was the promotion of healthy lifestyle among young people, the formation of critical thinking and oratory skills.
The following participants were recognized as the winners of the debate tournament in the Kazakh league:
1st place – Kuanyshova Inkar (academic group ShT-22-01) and Kanat Aray (academic group AI-22-01); 2nd place – Karzhasova Sarah (academic group YUK-21-02) and Auganbai Zhandaulet (academic group T-22-01); 3rd place – Beisen Sapar (academic group ShT-22-01) and Amirkhanova Gulmira (academic group KT-22-01).
In the Russian league, the places were distributed as follows:
1st place – Naydenova Dayana (academic group IYA-22-01) and Nurgaliyeva Anzhani (academic group IYa-22-01); 2nd place – Usmankhanova Lolakhan (academic group IYA-22-01) and Karymshakova Medina (academic group PD-22-01); 3rd place – Ablaev Temirlan (academic group IYA-21-01) and Suleimenov Rahman (academic group YUR-20-01).
At the end of the debate tournament, the best players in various categories were identified:
