The concert program was opened with words of congratulations of the rector of EAGI, Academician A.K. Kussayinov. At the concert students of the Departments of the Institute demonstrated the traditional costumes, songs and dances of one of the peoples inhabiting Kazakhstan.
In honor of the great holiday Nauryz at the Institute was held the competition of wall newspapers among the academic groups. At the festive concert, the Prorector on educational work, Candidate of Pedagogic Science, Docent Ya.N.Ospanova and the Head of the Committee on Youth Affairs N. Tyrnakhan handed over the diplomas and the festive prizes to the winners.
All the activities conducted at the Institute contribute to nurturing students’ love for their land, culture and identity. Modern Nauryz saves the continuity of traditions of antiquity. With the Renaissance of the national culture it is an important link for “link of times”, history and modern life of Kazakhstan.
